We’re seeking a dedicated Toolmaker who will be responsible for manufacturing, maintaining, and repairing tooling to ensure smooth production processes and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Manufacture, assemble, and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, moulds, and machine components to precise specifications
- Perform die maintenance and tooling repairs to support production efficiency
- Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related machinery safely and efficiently
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately to produce components
- Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of tooling
- Ensure all tools meet required tolerances and quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimise tool design and performance
- Assess tooling from production and initiate maintenance work orders
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and tooling activities
- Manage tool inventory and ensure availability of machining tools
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised toolroom environment in line with health and safety standards
Minimum Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Toolmaker within a manufacturing environment
- Trade Tested Toolmaker (Red Seal certification preferred)
- Strong knowledge of machining, tooling, and CNC programming
- Experience operating lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability
- High attention to detail and precision
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
