Experienced Tile Installer / Bathroom Remodeler
Guardian Remodeling Corp is looking for an experienced Tile Installer / Bathroom Remodeler to join our team. We work on residential remodeling projects throughout Westchester and Putnam County.
We are looking for someone who is highly skilled in tile installation but also all-around handy and comfortable handling different phases of bathroom renovations and general remodeling.
Responsibilities
- Professional wall and floor tile installation
- Bathroom and shower tile layout and installation
- Shower pan preparation and installation
- Waterproofing shower walls, floors, niches, and wet areas
- Tile cutting, leveling, grouting, and caulking
- Bathroom demolition and preparation
- Basic framing and carpentry
- Cement board and Sheetrock installation
- Painting and touch-ups
- Trim and finish work
- Assist with light plumbing when needed
- Handle general remodeling and construction tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
Requirements
- Must be a skilled and experienced tile installer
- Must have experience working on complete bathroom renovations
- Must understand proper shower preparation and waterproofing
- Must be all-around handy and comfortable doing different types of remodeling work
- Experience with basic/light plumbing is a plus
- Must be willing to help with framing, demolition, grouting, painting, carpentry, and other trades as needed
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to travel throughout Westchester and Putnam County
- Must have your own tools
- Must be dependable, hardworking, and show up on time
- Must take pride in clean, professional work
Tile installation will be your primary trade, but we need someone versatile who can jump in and help with all aspects of a bathroom renovation and other remodeling projects.
We are looking for someone interested in steady work and a long-term position with our company.
Pay: Based on experience and skill level.
