Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join our IT division as a Technical Account Manager. This is a pivotal role involving advanced technical support, infrastructure management, and project implementation. You will serve as a senior technical resource within the team, responsible for maintaining and improving IT systems to ensure reliability, security, and scalability—aligned with ITIL best practices. Job Responsibilities
Provide advanced support for IT infrastructure, systems, and services.
Install, configure, maintain, and support enterprise-grade hardware and software.
Lead or contribute to the delivery of mid-to-large-scale technical projects.
Resolve complex technical incidents and problems across servers, networking, and virtualization platforms.
Monitor and proactively improve system performance, stability, and scalability.
Drive continual service improvement and propose business cases for infrastructure upgrades.
Enforce change control processes and ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
Support, mentor, and coach junior technical staff; act as a knowledge leader.
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and adhere to IT procedures.
Collaborate with third-party providers to manage and resolve escalated issues.Required Skills & ExperienceServer & Virtualization:
Microsoft Server technologies: Active Directory, Group Policy, MS Clustering, RDS.
VMware ESX, vSphere, Hyper-V, Citrix XenApp.
Experience with server hardware: HPE, Dell.
Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
Backup solutions: Veeam Backup & Replication.
Disaster Recovery planning and implementation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience supporting SME/Enterprise-level infrastructures.
Solid understanding of IT service management (ITIL v3 Foundation certified).
Track record of managing multiple concurrent projects.
Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
