Test Analyst for the Banking Services Projects (12 month contract)
Objectives of this Scope of Work
The main purpose of this position is the end-to-end functional and integration testing of the Core Banking Enhancements Project. The testing will cover functional testing from both backend and front-end, integration testing, end to end testing, Industry testing, and reporting aspects of the solution. The Test Analysts must also be responsible for co-ordinating and reporting on System Integration Testing (SIT/QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution and prepare the sign off when testing is completed.
Experience:
• 3 years IT Diploma/ Degree (Software Development)
• 5 to 8 years’ experience in Test Execution and Test Analysis.
• 3 to 6 years experienced in conducting functional testing, integration testing, as well as co-ordinating and reporting on User Acceptance testing preparation, execution and sign off.
• Extensive knowledge of HP ALM.
• Experience in Integration Testing.
• Understanding of testing concepts i.e., testing methodologies and techniques.
• Knowledge of SWIFT standards and payment messages (preferrable MT and ISO 20022).
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders during end to end and Industry testing.
• Knowledge of different forms of Communication and Reporting.
Advantageous:
• Knowledge of BPT (Business Process Testing) Framework.
• Automation testing
Qualifications/ Certification:
• a Diploma in IT, or an equivalent qualification.
• ISTQB foundation OR Test Analyst.
• Functional testing experience
The following will be an added advantage:
• Certification of test automation will be an added advantage
