Full Job Description
Requirements:
A National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology is preferred.
A foundational-level certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester) is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in roles such as Test Analyst, Test Specialist, or Software Tester.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning: Assist in organizing and prioritizing testing efforts.
Requirement Analysis: Interpret project requirements to formulate effective test strategies.
Test Case Development: Create detailed test scenarios to verify software performance and features.
Test Data Management: Prepare test data for various environments and testing needs.
Test Execution: Perform manual, automated, and non-functional testing to detect defects and ensure high-quality software.
Documentation & Reporting: Record test results, log defects, and communicate findings to the development team.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with developers to resolve issues and enhance software quality.
Skills and Personal Attributes:
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Dependable, punctual, and a proactive team player.
Proficient in analyzing requirements, identifying bugs, and troubleshooting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skilled in defect detection and resolution.
Familiarity with a variety of testing techniques and best practices.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Compensation:
Hourly rate aligned with current market standards.
