Job Opportunity: Tender and Bid Administrator – Clothing Industry

We are seeking for a Tender and Bid Administrator with experience in the clothing industry to manage the full tender and bid process. The successful candidate will ensure that all submissions are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client requirements, particularly for government and corporate contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and identify tender and bid opportunities relevant to the business.
Prepare, compile, and submit tender and bid documents in line with deadlines and specifications.
Coordinate inputs from internal departments such as Production, Procurement, and Finance.
Ensure accurate costing, timelines, and compliance with tender requirements.
Maintain a register of submitted bids and their status.
Track deadlines, follow-ups, and post-submission documentation or presentations.
Stay informed about procurement regulations, industry developments, and B-BBEE requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in tender and bid administration, preferably in the clothing or manufacturing industry.
Solid knowledge of public and private procurement processes.
Strong administrative and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and tender portal platforms.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Added Advantage:
Experience in garment costing and production lead times.
Previous exposure to fast-paced or small-to-medium clothing businesses.
