Telematics Platform Administrator & Integration Specialist Jobs in Durban at Track Cam Africa
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Telematics Platform Administrator & Integration Specialist. This role focuses on the setup and configuration of Teltonika telematics devices and MDVR systems. A knowledge of Streamax and CMS middleware software and ensuring seamless data routing into our frontend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrated knowledge in configuring telematics tracking devices, specifically Teltonika units.
(Bonus) Experience with CAN bus data sniffing and analysis.
Configure MDVRs and AI-enabled dashcams, including alarm triggers, event settings, and server-side configuration using Streamax and CMS software.
Integrate video middleware and telematics platforms to ensure seamless transmission of data and video into our frontend systems.
Manage the routing and deployment of telematics and video devices across our vehicle management platform.
Set up and map client vehicle management platforms with relevant sensors, apply accurate data tagging, and ensure integration with the control room’s GARM notification module.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to telematics devices and MDVR systems.
Requirements:
Experience with Teltonika devices and MDVR systems.
Familiarity with CMS and Streamax video management platforms.
Strong understanding of GPS tracking technologies and data routing.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
