Technician in Training FTC – 18 months
We’re looking for a motivated Technician in Training to support our team by assisting with project work, maintenance tasks, technical investigations, and management duties. This is a fantastic opportunity for growth andhands-on learning.
Training and Development (TIT Programme):
Administrative Training
OHS Act, Lockout, SAP, LMF 11, Bar Charts, Drawings, Rotable Procedures, MSG3 Maintenance Management.
Practical Training
SKF Bearings (Basic & Intermediate),Problem Solving/RCAs, Welding, Rigging, Hydraulics, Lubrication, Fault Finding.
Plant-Specific Equipment
Tailored training based on discipline:
Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, DCS, Condition Monitoring.
Practical Experience
Assist Technicians with daily tasks and projects.
Step up as Shift Foreman for 3 weeks.
Gainleadershipexperience as Maintenance Support, Foreman, or Superintendent for 3 weeks.
Minimum Requirements:
Trade test certificate in Fitting, Fitting & Turning, or Electrical H/C.
NQF 6 – National Diploma N6/S4 in Mechanical or Electrical H/C.
5 years post-apprentice experience.
Valid driver’s license.
