Technical / Support / Telesales Representative – Lanseria, Gauteng – Salary: R15,000 – R30,000 per month (depending on experience) About the Role: Are you a tech-savvy sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? An established, industry-leading power generation company is seeking a dynamic Technical / Support Sales Representative to join their Lanseria branch. In this multi-faceted role, you will combine technical troubleshooting, customer relationship management, and sales to deliver high-quality solutions to walk-in and telephonic clients. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line telephonic technical customer support and advice. Assist walk-in customers, understand their needs, present instant solutions, and resolve complaints. Prepare accurate quotations for services and spare parts, process sales orders, and handle customer payments. Coordinate technician schedules, plan optimal routing, debrief technical staff, and process invoices. Manage sub-contractor relationships and handle warranty claims/work orders. Maintain stock visibility, report inventory status, and keep customer databases updated. Requirements: Education: Matric with Higher Grade Mathematics (C+ or higher preferred). Languages: Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (essential). Experience: Telesales experience and a strong interest in mechanical engines or electrical equipment are advantageous. Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel essential) and retail POS systems. Personal Attributes: High EQ, excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong numeracy, attention to detail, and a target-driven mindset. Logistics: Valid Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport are essential.
