We are seeking a results driven Technical Sales Representative to join our Industrial Automation team in Cape Town. As a Technical Sales Representatives you will have access to multiple reputable brands from various portfolios to address client needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial automation products and the markets in which they are used in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
Identify and develop new sales opportunities
Address all customer inquiries including technical questions
Present technical products and solutions clearly and confidently
Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth
Increase technical knowledge
Update CRM information and feedback on market
Attend networking events and trade shows
Requirements
Education:
Engineering/Electrical qualification advantageous
Valid driver’s license and own transport.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in technical sales
Strong knowledge of electrical components in the automation industry, PLC’s, Switchgear, Cables, Sensors etc.
Proven track record of matching products to client needs and achieving sales targets.
