The Technical Recruiter role
At Recruyt, we find the engineers, developers and technical leaders who power mission-critical work at some of the most innovative companies in the world. Our searches move fast, and they move deep, connecting rare technical talent with the teams who need them most.
We’re now looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our delivery team. This is a role for someone who thrives on the hunt, enjoys real ownership of a search, and wants to be a genuine partner to the clients and candidates they work with. You’ll help shape the teams behind the technology.
You’ll work end to end, from first source to final offer, building relationships with candidates and clients that go far beyond a single placement.
Your role will involve building strong relationships with candidates, ensuring their skills and career aspirations align with client needs, and driving successful outcomes in a competitive, high-demand market.
This role requires working some overlapping US hours to maintain close collaboration with clients across different time zones.
What a typical day at Recruyt will look like:
- Sourcing and engaging highly skilled engineers, developers and technical professionals across a range of fast-paced tech sectors
- Reviewing resumes and profiles to identify key strengths and skills
- Conducting screening interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, technical expertise and fit with client needs
- Partnering closely with clients to understand their hiring needs and shaping your sourcing strategy around them
- Joining client meetings regularly to share progress and discuss candidates
- Staying on top of industry trends and market insight to keep sharpening your sourcing approach
- Adapting quickly as priorities shift, and managing multiple searches at once
Is this you?
- You’re a recruiter who naturally takes ownership of a search, not because you’re told to, but because you see what a client needs and go get it.
- You’re comfortable engaging passive candidates and building rapport with people who aren’t actively looking.
- You care about understanding a client’s business well to represent it, and about giving candidates an experience that reflects the quality of the companies you represent.
- You’re used to managing competing priorities, communicating clearly under pressure, and adapting as the day changes around you.
- You stay curious and driven, and you know how to balance speed with genuine care for the people on both sides of the table.
As for the qualifications required for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment, ideally within the tech industry
- Familiarity with technical roles, particularly engineering (software and hardware), and other niche tech talent
- Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter and engaging passive candidates
- Experience running recruitment processes end-to-end
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken
- Ability to work US hours that overlap with the team for smooth collaboration with clients across time zones
