Technical Operations Specialist (Remote)

Working Hours: Full-time PST (40 hours per week)

Salary Range: $1,400 – $1,800 USD / month (scaled strictly based on geographic market rates, depth of experience, and Airtable technical evaluation performance).

About The Role

We are a lead generation company serving roofing contractors. We run high-volume SMS outreach campaigns, manage large homeowner contact lists, and deliver qualified leads to our clients. We're looking for a detail-obsessed Technical Operations Specialist to own the day-to-day machinery that keeps this running.

This is a hands-on execution role with real ownership. You'll be the person who makes sure lists are clean, campaigns go out correctly, and lead data flows to the right place — and who proactively builds the systems and analytics that let us scale outreach volume without losing control. If you've helped a cold calling or texting operation grow before and you like systems, data, and getting things right the first time, you'll do well here.

What You'll Own

  • List management: Build, clean, dedupe, segment, and maintain homeowner contact lists. Keep data accurate and properly organized across markets and clients.
  • SMS campaigns: Set up, schedule, and monitor outreach campaigns in our messaging platform. Track what's been sent where and when, and keep campaign records organized.
  • CRM management: Keep our Airtable CRM current — tag and disposition replies, move qualified leads through the pipeline, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Integrations & automation: Proactively build and maintain integrations and automations within Airtable — connecting our SMS tools, lead flow, and reporting so data moves automatically instead of by hand.
  • Analytics: Build and own dashboards and analytics in Airtable that show campaign and lead performance, so we can make decisions on real numbers.
  • Data hygiene & reporting: Maintain clean records, pull together performance numbers, and flag issues before they become problems.
  • Process execution: Follow established daily workflows reliably, and proactively suggest improvements when you spot inefficiencies.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 2-3+ years of dedicated professional experience managing digital campaign operations, software infrastructure, or data processing pipelines. Direct experience working for high-volume B2B lead generation, telemarketing, or fast-paced digital agency environments is highly valued.
  • Fluent English is a must — strong spoken and written English is a hard requirement for this role. You'll be communicating directly and need to be clearly understood.
  • Proven experience scaling a cold calling or cold texting operation — you've been part of growing outreach volume and know what breaks when you scale.
  • Airtable Mastery: Deep, demonstrable technical proficiency within Airtable.— not just data entry, but building automations, integrations, and dashboards.
  • Experience with SMS/dialer platforms — BatchLeads and SmarterContact specifically a strong plus (Twilio, GoHighLevel, or similar also relevant).
  • Strong spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets / Excel) — comfortable with filtering, sorting, deduping, and formulas.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized — you catch the small stuff.
  • Proactive and self-managing in a remote setup; you spot problems and build fixes without being told.
  • Comfortable learning new tools quickly.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in lead generation, real estate, or home services.
  • Familiarity with data cleaning at scale (thousands to hundreds of thousands of records).
  • Awareness of SMS marketing compliance best practices.
  • Scripting or no-code automation experience (Airtable scripting, Zapier/Make, APIs, light Python).
