About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Full Stack Software Developer. This role is suited to someone with 10+ years of software development experience who enjoys combining hands-on development with technical leadership.
You’ll be involved throughout the full software development lifecycle—from solution design and architecture through to implementation, deployment, and production support. The engineering environment embraces modern development practices, cloud-native technologies, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and frequent production releases.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript (5+ years) is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and solution architecture for new initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and scope solutions.
- Build proof of concepts (POCs) to validate technical approaches where required.
- Break down initiatives into epics, stories, and deliverable work.
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software using modern engineering practices.
- Provide technical leadership within a small cross-functional development team.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Support applications in production and troubleshoot issues when required.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement across the engineering function.

Required Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of JavaScript and TypeScript development.
- Strong experience designing scalable software systems and domain models.
- Experience developing and maintaining large-scale SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of clean code principles, SOLID principles, and software design patterns.
- Experience working within mature CI/CD environments with frequent production deployments.
- Knowledge of automated testing and software quality practices.
- Understanding of scalable, high-performance application design.
- Experience implementing secure development practices and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance technical quality and business outcomes.
- Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve software development productivity.
- Relevant Computer Science qualification or equivalent commercial experience.
