Technical Consultant Jobs in Cape Town, South Africa at MRI India
This role is based in the Cape Town office and supports the North America region. Working hours are 14:30–23:00 SA time.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients to understand their needs.
- Turn business requirements into technical requirements and documented specifications.
- Present solutions to stakeholders (non‑technical audiences) and solicit constructive feedback.
- Train clients in the MRI Toolkit.
- Migrate client databases to the MRI Cloud.
- Install MRI product on self‑hosted client servers.
- Complete data conversions from source software to MRI.
- Create reports using both the MRI Toolkit and SSRS reporting.
- Learn from, and share knowledge and skills with teammates to improve internal processes and impact.
Qualifications
- Client focus and a passion for quality.
- Dedicated and conscientious with attention to detail.
- Strong organization, project and time‑management skills.
- Familiarity with working with databases.
- Previous experience with SQL (preferred).
- Previous programming experience (a plus).
- Professional communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non‑technical people and train others.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous customer/client service or consulting experience (helpful).
