Position: Teacher / Directress
Lotus Preschool:
We are expanding and opening up a new 3-6 environment. An urgent Directress or Assistant is required for the environment.
Key Requirements
Min 3 years or more experience in the Montessori Environment is a must.
Montessori Qualification from a reputed institute is a pre-requisite for application.
Key Responsibilities:
Increase Learning Curve: Use of Montessori material and equipment to guide children in their independent exploration.
Individualized Instruction: To devise lessons to each child’s individual needs, interests, and learning styles. Develop lesson plans every week to drive autonomy and self-motivation following Montessori pedagogy.
Create a Prepared Environment: To organize the classroom and the environment to help children engage in independent work. Guide the children in developing social skills such as sharing, cooperation, and conflict resolution.
Collaborating with Parents: Regular communication with parents is essential. To interact with parents to discuss their child’s development and provide insights on how they can support learning at home.
Observation and Assessment: To observe and record the children’s progress, noting their strengths and areas of improvement. Prepare for the parent-teacher meeting. Develop a student portfolio and reports for the class children.
