We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Development Teacher to join our team of caring professionals who are committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of young learners.
Position Summary:
The Early Childhood Development Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth of children. This individual will work closely with children aged [age range – e.g., 2–5 years], fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment where curiosity is encouraged, individuality is respected, and developmental milestones are supported.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a nurturing, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with developmental objectives and early learning standards.
Observe and assess children’s development; document progress and share insights with families.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
Communicate effectively and respectfully with parents, providing regular updates on classroom activities and child progress.
Collaborate with fellow educators to plan activities, share best practices, and contribute to a positive team culture.
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety in the classroom.
Participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
Early Childhood Development Level 4,5,6
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working with young children in ECD setting.
Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.
Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for early education and commitment to the well-being and development of children.
