Role Overview:
Join our client’s team as a Tax Accountant/Bookkeeping professional and play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records and compliance. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with clients and internal teams to support their financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records
Reconcile transactions and accounts to ensure accuracy
Prepare company financial statements and tax returns
Assist in preparing client Business Activity Statements (BAS)
Liaise effectively with clients to address financial queries and provide guidance
Meet strict deadlines for financial reporting and compliance
Utilise Xero and/or MYOB software (or similar) for accounting tasks
Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes
Requirements
Demonstrated experience with Xero and/or MYOB software (or similar)
Ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
Excellent communication skills for client interactions
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
