Role Summary
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, evaluating, and hiringtop talentacross multiple departments. You will closely collaborate with People Business Partner/Leads in conjunction with hiring managers and department heads to understand their hiring needs, develop tailored sourcing strategies, ensuring an efficient hiring process and positive candidate experience.
Minimum Requirements
Relevant HR Degree or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5-7 years functional experience in HR.
Demonstrated Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience.
Experience in recruiting across multiple roles, departments and in high volume recruitment.

Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing:Leverage a range of sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, headhunting, networking, employee referrals, and campus recruitment (universities, colleges, and high schools), to identify, engage, and attract potential passive candidates. Build and maintain a talent pool for high-demand or hard-to-fill roles.
Screening And Evaluation:Review CVs to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and suitability for open positions. Conduct initial phone screenings to gauge candidates’ interest, experience, and cultural fit.
Collaboration:Work closely with People Business Partners/Leads and Hiring Managers to understand job requirements, departmental needs and align on sourcing strategies and timelines. Foster strong relationships with hiring managers, ensuring they are well-informed about the hiring process and that feedback loops are efficient and timely.
Interview Coordination:Provide guidance on defining job descriptions. Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring timelycommunicationand a smooth process for both candidates and hiring teams. Enhance the candidate experience by offering clear information and maintaining promptcommunicationthroughout the process.
Candidate Assessment:Ensure timeous pre-employment assessments or tests as required for specific roles. Check candidate references and conduct background checks as necessary.
Offer Negotiation:Extend job offers to selected candidates and assist with negotiating compensation and benefits packages. Assist in managing counteroffers and offer acceptance, where relevant.
Onboarding Support:Collaborate with the People Business Partners to ensure a seamless transition for new hires during the onboarding process.
Data Management:Maintain accurate andup-to-daterecords of candidate interactions and recruitment activities. Generate recruitment reports and metrics for management review.
Compliance:Stay up to date with labour laws and regulations to ensure our recruitment practices comply. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition. Promotediversity and inclusionin the hiring process.
