Our client is an established financial services organisation with a national footprint. We are looking for a passionate recruitment professional who genuinely loves recruitment and understands the impact that getting the right people into the business can make.

This is a hands-on internal recruitment role managing the full recruitment process, from vacancy briefing and sourcing through to appointment and onboarding. The successful candidate will recruit across all levels of the organisation, from general administrative and operational roles through to senior management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through to appointment and onboarding.
  • Partner with line managers and business leaders to understand current and future talent requirements.
  • Develop appropriate sourcing strategies according to the level, complexity and urgency of each vacancy.
  • Advertise vacancies across relevant recruitment sourcing channels.
  • Screen and assess applications against defined job requirements and organisational needs.
  • Shortlist and present suitably qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, references, background checks and other pre-employment requirements.
  • Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process and ensure a professional candidate experience.
  • Facilitate offers and assist with the appointment and onboarding process.
  • Maintain an effective recruitment pipeline for current and anticipated vacancies.

Recruitment Across All Levels

  • Recruit effectively across a broad range of positions, from general administrative and operational roles through to senior management appointments.
  • Adapt sourcing, screening and selection techniques according to the seniority, technical requirements and complexity of each position.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify both technical suitability and cultural/business fit.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong working relationships with hiring managers and business stakeholders.
  • Obtain a clear understanding of role requirements, organisational context and the profile of the ideal candidate.
  • Provide professional recruitment advice and guidance to line managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage recruitment expectations, timelines and feedback effectively.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders regarding recruitment progress and challenges.

Recruitment Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and candidate information.
  • Ensure recruitment documentation and processes are completed accurately and timeously.
  • Prepare recruitment reports, statistics and management information as required.
  • Monitor recruitment activity, vacancies, pipelines and placement outcomes.
  • Use advanced Excel to analyse recruitment data, prepare reports and identify trends and insights.
  • Maintain appropriate recruitment databases and applicant information.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven recruitment experience, with a strong track record in managing the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Experience within financial services, banking, insurance or retail would be highly advantageous.

  • Advanced Excel skills are essential.
