PRIMARY PURPOSE

We are looking for a system analyst to implement and improve our IT systems. You will analyse system requirements and address any relevant problems. You will also perform standard testing and provide solutions to ensure high levels of performance and security. As a system analyst, you will be working closely with Business areas, developers, and system architect to maintain and improve current systems. Ultimately, you should be able to translate our internal and external clients’ needs to improve on the banks current systems.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT

Examine and evaluate current systems. Identify and document system requirements. Liaise with Business to identify new features or enhancements.

Document interfaces between systems. Collaborate with IT teams and business to produce new systems. Validate changes by testing programs. Train users on the new operation systems and provide support. Ensure deadline and budget requirements are met. Stay up to date with current technologies and technical developments.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Degree in computer science

Certification in Business analysis

3-5 years’ experience as a systems or Business analyst

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

Proven work experience as a system analyst

Solid knowledge of business information systems

Working knowledge of business software applications

Familiarity with SQL

Ability to explain technical details.

Excellent analytical skills

A good problem-solving attitude

save time and reduce labour costs.
Automation: Identify repetitive tasks that can be automated using software solutions, thereby reducing the need for manual intervention and

cutting down on labour costs.
Efficient Project Planning: Use tools and techniques to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, avoiding cost overruns.

Agile Methodologies: Implement agile methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce costs by delivering projects incrementally and iteratively.

CUSTOMER CENTRICITY

Speed of responses: reaction and turnaround time. Going the extra mile and following through to closure. Quick turnaround time.
Communicate effectively: keeping the customer informed. Level of satisfaction by customers (internal/external).
Produce a stable digital environment: for customers to interact with 24/7. Drive automation and business process engineering.

OPERTIONAL EXCELLENCE

Active participation in sprint planning / JAD sessions: Write, review, and signoff of user stories and or business requirements documents.

Immediate reporting of incidents: timeous updates on approved channels (WhatsApp and SharePoint).
Identify solutions for audit findings: Timeous implementation of agreed solutions to avoid repeat audit findings.
