Job Description

To provide guidance in the implementation, installation, configuration, and testing of system software on all relevant mainframes to code and automate tasks that optimize processing aligned to business requirements.
Are you someone who can:
Deliver against operational and cost targets.
Install and set up workstations and servers for all mainstream manufacturers (IBM, HP, Dell).
Perform daily capacity and health checks, software maintenance, customization, Active Directory Management, DNS, DHCP, WINS.
Create batch schedules and change orders, code basic JCL and automation.
Support batch FTP, analyze, and change batch schedules as requested.
Control illegal intrusions from outside entities.
Manage the group’s corporate server infrastructure and advise on security enhancements.
Maintain backup systems to ensure business continuity.
Manage server and network hardware to prevent downtime.
Prioritize resource allocation to minimize wastage and control risks.
Build relationships, share knowledge, and engage in cross-functional support.
Deliver excellent customer service, build trust, and exceed expectations.
Provide reports on service delivery and review work progress.
Ensure compliance with statutory, legislative, and governance standards.
Implement and monitor business processes according to quality standards and policies.
Research and suggest technological improvements and process streamlining ideas.
Monitor customer feedback and optimize processes accordingly.
Assess personal performance and identify development needs.
