About the Role

We are looking for a motivated System Engineer with 2–5 years of experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply) to support, implement, and maintain industrial systems within the Oil & Gas / Fuel storage and distribution environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot systems running on Red Hat Linux.
  • Manage and support Oracle and SQL Server databases, including SQL scripting and stored procedures.
  • Perform software testing, validation, and support system commissioning activities.
  • Participate in system rollouts, upgrades, and migrations from legacy systems.
  • Support FAT, SAT, and deliver end-user training.
  • Work with Terminal Automation Systems (TAS) and Terminal Management Systems (TMS).
  • Interface with field devices and controllers, including Preset Batch Controllers (Accuload III, Accuload IV, Multiload, Microload).
  • Support Truck and Rail loading/offloading skids and related automation systems.
  • Develop and analyse operational data, supporting data analytics and reporting.
  • Design and support report development (e.g., SAP Crystal Reports, Jasper).
  • Ensure system integration using Modbus TCP, Modbus Serial, and RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience as a System Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux OS.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Strong SQL scripting and stored procedure development skills.
  • Experience in software testing and system validation.
  • Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas storage and distribution business processes (highly preferred).
  • Exposure to Truck/Rail loading operations is a strong advantage.

Nice to Have

  • Python programming skills.
  • Experience with data analytics tools or methodologies.
  • Experience with TAS/TMS solutions.
  • Experience with SCADA/PLC solutions.
  • Experience with preset batch controllers (Accuload III/IV, Multiload, Microload).
  • Reporting experience using SAP Crystal Reports, Jasper, or similar tools.
