**Quick Start**
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech for one of our client which is a Hospital
- Pay Rate: $40/hr
- Job Location: Arcata, CA 95518
- Shift: Monday-Friday day shift, some shared call
- Duration of Contract: 17 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 40 hours/week
Submissions must include:
- Current Surgical Technologist/Scrub Technologist certification
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to perform Endoscopy cases
Housing:
Travelers may explore furnished housing options in Arcata, McKinleyville, Blue Lake, Eureka, and other communities within approximately 25 miles of Arcata.
Job Duties in Order of Importance:
- Prepare operating and procedure rooms for surgical and endoscopy cases.
- Assist surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff during procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper instrumentation.
- Perform duties for both surgical and GI/endoscopy procedures.
- Participate in shared evening and weekend on-call coverage.
- Follow hospital policies and patient safety standards.
