**Quick Start**
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech for one of our client which is a Hospital
- Pay Rate: $50/hr
- Job Location: Yuma CO 80759
- Shift: Week Days
- Duration of Contract: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: NO
Submissions must include:
- Current Surgical Technologist/Scrub Technologist certification
- Current BLS certification
- 1-3 years operating room scrubbing experience
- Experience with AORN Standards and Recommended Practices – Knowledge of Care and Handling of Surgical Instrumentation and power equipment per AAMI and AORN
- CO State License
Job Duties in Order of Importance:
- Prepare operating and procedure rooms for surgical and endoscopy cases.
- Assist surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff during procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper instrumentation.
- Perform duties for both surgical and GI/endoscopy procedures.
- Participate in shared evening and weekend on-call coverage.
- Follow hospital policies and patient safety standards.
