We are looking for a Support Engineer to join a UK-based technology services company, providing remote support during UK business hours. This role is ideal for someone with solid experience in Microsoft 365 environments, PSA/RMM tools, and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities

Manage and resolve service tickets using PSA and RMM tools (preferably ConnectWise).

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 and Windows-based systems.

Deliver professional and timely assistance to clients in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) setting.

Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues efficiently.

Maintain accurate time-tracking and ticket updates using tools such as Work Composer.

Follow up with clients to ensure complete issue resolution and satisfaction.

Support root cause analysis and implement proactive solutions where applicable.

Uphold cybersecurity standards, including phishing simulations and basic protocols when needed.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3 years in IT support, helpdesk, or service delivery roles.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Windows troubleshooting, and general IT support.

Proven experience in customer-facing IT roles; MSP experience is preferred.

Familiarity with ConnectWise Manage PSA and ConnectWise RMM tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be confident, clear, and professional with clients.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks.

Quiet, professional home office setup with a reliable internet connection.

Ability to work consistently during UK business hours (Monday–Friday).

Comfortable using time-tracking tools such as Work Composer.

Desirable:

IT certifications (e.g., MCSA, ITIL, ITSM) or equivalent practical knowledge.

Exposure to tools like Guardz and understanding of phishing simulations and cybersecurity basics.

Experience leading technical teams or a desire to step into a leadership role.

Strong troubleshooting mindset, including root cause analysis and proactive support.
