Overview
The Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for developing, leading, implementing and continuously improving Omnia’s integrated demand and supply planning strategy, operating framework, processes and capabilities across the end-to-end supply chain.
The role ensures that demand, supply, inventory, production, procurement and distribution plans are aligned to business objectives, enabling optimal customer service, working capital performance, inventory optimisation and operational efficiency.
The incumbent will support the Master Planner in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, manages planning teams and systems, drives cross-functional alignment. Custodian of forecasting, inventory management, supply planning, master data governance, new product introductions and product phase-in/phase-out activities.
The role serves as the key link between Commercial, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain and Finance functions to ensure sustainable business performance and strategic execution.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Chemical Engineering
Advantageous Qualifications
- APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)
- APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
- SAPICS Certification
- SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional)
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Management or Logistics
Experience
- 10 years’ experience within Supply Chain Management, Planning, Manufacturing or Logistics environments
- Minimum 5 years’ management experience leading a Supply Chain function
- Proven experience leading S&OP processes
- Experience in inventory optimisation and working capital management
- Experience managing planning systems, forecasting tools and ERP platforms
- Experience in supply chain analytics
Advantageous
- Experience with in chemicals, mining, agriculture, manufacturing or industrial sectors
- Exposure to network optimisation and advanced planning systems
- Experience leading large-scale supply chain transformation initiatives

Leadership & decision making
- Support and Execute on the integrated planning strategy, operating model and planning governance framework.
- Lead the Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Inventory Optimisation functions.
- Drive planning excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Establish planning standards, policies, procedures and performance measures.
- Provide input to the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and facilitate executive decision-making.
