Purpose
of the Job:
To oversee & streamline the entire supply chain process, concentrating primarily on production scheduling, guaranteeing the economical & prompt delivery of raw materials, packaging & completed goods.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics or related field 3 – 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, production, procurement or logistics Industry – Must have Proficiency in supply chain management software, ERP systems & production scheduling tools Strong understanding of: FIFO, JIT & inventory managements best practices Technical Competencies &
Experience:
Lead the production planning process to ensure efficient use of raw materials, packaging & labour, with a focus on meeting production deadlines. Develop and execute supply chain strategies for sourcing raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to meet production schedules. Establish and maintain a list of preferred suppliers Management of Inventory & Materials Overseeing the logistics process for raw material procurement, packaging supplies & finished goods distribution Cost & Management
