SUPERVISOR POSTION
A well-established Recycling Company based in Durban is seeking to employ a Supervisor with at least 2 years relevant experience in a similar role.
Duties & Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills
· Good planning and organizational skills
· Good attention to detail
· Ability to work in a team
· Must be able to work under pressure
· Excellent customer service skills
· The ability to manage a team effectively and efficiently
· Previous experience in a similar role is a must
Responsibilities:
· To supervise all yard staff and making sure we operate effectively and efficiently
· Do daily planning to ensure optimal production in yard
· Ensure housekeeping is done on daily basis and that the yard is always tidy and clean
· Physically checking stock
· Making sure all equipment and machinery is checked daily and in excellent working condition
· Ensure that all procedures are correctly followed in the yard
· Ensure that the yard is safe and secure (especially around moving machinery)
· Ensure that all procedures are followed when dispatching and receiving
