Role Description
This is a full-time, Structural Engineering Draftsperson and Revit Modeller position based in the City of Cape Town (Tygervalley area). The role involves creating detailed structural engineering drawings using Autodesk Revit as well as reinforcing drawings and bending schedules.
Currently a hybrid office system is implemented. Preference will be given to applicants that are willing to be full time office based.
The candidate will work closely with the internal project team to meet project objectives and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Revit creating detailed Structural Drawings.
- Proficiency in preparing reinforcing drawings and rebar schedules.
- Experienced with reading and understanding Architectural drawings.
- Some knowledge of effective collaboration with other consultants by means of BIM will be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in technical documentation
- Effective collaboration and communication skills within multidisciplinary teams
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Drafting, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field will be beneficial.
