Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee the construction of buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of projects while complying with relevant codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze structural components and systems.
Create detailed drawings, specifications, and reports using CAD and structural analysis software.
Perform load calculations and stress tests to assess the strength and stability of structures.
Review architectural and engineering plans to ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and client requirements.
Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and inspect structural components.
Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Ensure designs are cost-effective, sustainable, and safe.
Stay updated with industry developments, codes, and innovations.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
MUST be a registered ECSA professional with Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng certificate (No expired certification will be accepted)
Experience:
10-15 of experience in structural design and analysis.
Familiarity with a variety of building materials (e.g., steel, concrete, timber, masonry).
Experience in seismic, wind, and load analysis.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to design and construction challenges.
