About The Role
The Storeman is responsible for overseeing the stores function within the branch, ensuring efficient stock management, accurate inventory control, and excellent service delivery to both customers and colleagues.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with stock, systems, and people, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the store’s function within the branch.
- Supervise and coordinate stores activities and staff.
- Monitor stock in transit and investigate discrepancies.
- Manage stock movements and ensure no unauthorised transfers occur.
- Review and adjust weekly SAP-generated stock orders.
- Source stock from Head Office and other branches as required.
- Resolve customer stock queries and reconcile stock movements.
- Conduct and process physical stock counts.
- Report on stock discrepancies and variances.
- Monitor stock levels and recommend safety stock adjustments to minimise stockouts.

Minimum Requirements
- Matric.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience at a Storeman I level.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate stores activities within a branch environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP Warehousing, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, ZOHO CRM (repairs tracking)
