Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Store Team Leader located in Nelspruit/ Mbombela. The Store Team Leader will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, providing excellent customer service, training staff, and overseeing store management.
We are looking for a candidate who is vibrant, well-organised, and proficient in running a fast-paced family entertainment store. This individual will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, staff management and admin duties. The incumbent should be able to think on their feet and have excellent problem-solving, customer service, communication, and staff management skills.
Responsibilities:
• Opening and closing the store at the stipulated times.
• Manage the operations and activities of each department.
• Ensure all set policies and processes are followed by all staff and guests.
• Resolving conflicts or complaints from guests and employees by determining optimal solutions.
• Monitor and maintain store inventory. Ensuring all stocks are sufficient.
• Ensuring all cash-ups are done correctly and submitted daily before close of store.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that the employeesprovide the same level of service.
• Co-ordinate and execute functions such as Birthday Parties and corporate events.
• Lead by example
• Providing Leadership and direction to employees
• Assist staff with work performance.
• Delegate work duties to staff to reach objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Fluent in English
Matric with English and Mathematics Standard Grade.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a team leader at a retail store or a similar role.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service/retail/hospitality environment
Good understanding of IT.
Strong communication skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Exceptional problem-solving, organisational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines
Strong and accurate cash-handling skills
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office
