Customer Service: Greet customers, offering advice, and assist with purchases in a helpful and friendly manner.
Stock Management: Receiving new stock, checking orders against invoices, and reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods.
Merchandising: Unpacking and packing out stock, ensuring shelves are well-stocked, tidy, and attractively always arranged.
Inventory Control: Participating in regular stock takes, keeping track of inventory levels, and reporting low stock or excesses to management.
Cleanliness: Helping maintain a clean, safe, and pet-friendly shopping environment in line with health and safety standards.
Order Accuracy: Verifying those deliveries match purchase orders, ensuring all items are correctly priced and labelled before being displayed.
This is a hands-on role that requires physical activity, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
