Store Manager, Business Development Jobs in South Africa at Cash Crusaders Retail (Pty) Ltd

Our Client, who is a leading technology distributor in Africa, is looking for a highly experienced National Account Manager to join their team.

This position is permanent and is based in Midrand. South African citizens and those living in the area will be given preference.

Purpose

of Position

To develop and manage a selected database of Reseller Partners and achieve the targets attached to each customer (Overall GP and Revenue, GP% as well as Product Quadrant targets).

Key Responsibility Areas

First line of contact for selected customer base:
Provide relevant information regarding products in terms of their features and benefits.

Timely and accurately handle customer queries and quotations.

Create specific pricing and service structures for each client in allocated database.

Negotiate pricing with clients and close sale on agreed price.

Provide the client with stock availability and order status information.

Minimise stock-related cost to the customer.

Ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Manage the closed sale including the financial transaction and the dispatch thereof.

Maximise procurement of product from our work group and seek opportunistic sales on customer calls.

Analyse customer profile of sales against our work group products.

Close gaps & introduce new product lines.

Analyse customer profile of sales & identify gaps in our product range for presentation as opportunities to our marketing department.

Build awareness of the cost, revenue implications, market conditions and actions to ensure sustained competitive advantage in volatile market place.

Hold weekly pipeline management meetings and monthly account review meetings.

Present sales trend, backorder and operational reports for analysis of opportunities for cost management & sales development.

Explore all opportunities & feedback info to marketing and debtors to ensure smooth flow in availability, development of new product opportunities, aggressive follow-up of deals / opportunities and smooth availability of credit facilities.

Displays a shared vision of our work group organisational environment and is effective in mimicking this organisational environment in set up of remote offices.

Education

& Experience

Ten years sales experience in the IT industry (Essential), in IT distribution (preferred).

Five-year sales experience selling to large corporate customers (essential).

Account management experience (Essential).

Matric certificate with exemption (essential).

Marketing or commerce degree or diploma (essential).

Technical Competencies

MS Office Suite (essential).
