A manufacturing and engineering company in Randfontein is looking for an experienced Stock Controller to manage and maintain inventory, ensuring production efficiency and minimal downtime. This role includeshands-onsupport for production and storeroom activities, requiring a proactive and detail-oriented individual withinventory managementexpertise. The ideal candidate will come from a Manufacturing, Engineering or Mechanical Stock Control background.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Stock Controller in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Proficiency with Pastel Partner software (mandatory).
Strong knowledge ofinventory managementand stock control principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Highattention to detailwith excellent analytical andproblem-solving skills.
Strongcommunicationskillsand ability to work in ateam environment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations for stock handling.
Matric certificate.
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor stock levels to ensure continuous production.
Track and reconcile stock movements, addressing any discrepancies.
Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast material needs.
Develop and implement efficient stock control procedures.
Maintain accurate records usinginventory managementsystems.
Resolve stock shortages or excess inventory issues.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and quality deliveries.
Generate inventory reports for management.
Assist storeroom staff with cutting and moving parts.
Support the Production Manager with day-to-day tasks.
