Role Description
BBRW Catering Equipment is seeking a Stock Controller for a full-time, on-site role at its Johannesburg location. The Stock Controller will be responsible for managing and monitoring stock levels, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the availability of equipment and supplies. Daily responsibilities include conducting regular stock audits, placing orders to replenish inventory, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating closely with internal teams to meet operational demands. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to ensure an efficient supply chain.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Stock Control, Stock Management, and Inventory Control to maintain accurate and optimized inventory levels
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess inventory data and identify discrepancies or inefficiencies
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with team members and suppliers
- Attention to detail and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Understanding of inventory management software (experience with industry-specific tools is a plus)
- Previous experience in stock control or supply chain management is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in inventory or supply chain management are advantageous
