Position: Statutory Reporting Accountant (Contract)
Location: Rosebank
Job Responsibilities
This role reports into the Head of Statutory Reporting and its responsibilities span across all legal entities within the Group.
Process IFRS 17 accounting journals received from the Actuarial team, ensuring transactions are recorded in the accounting system promptly, and complete IFRS 4 to 17 reconciliations in line with IFRS and Group reporting requirements.
Prepare investment accounting journal entries (equities and bond instruments), ensuring timely recording in the accounting system and compliance with IFRS and Group reporting standards.
Review and post other head office journal entries to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and timely, adhering to IFRS and Group reporting requirements.
Prepare month-end finance packs (for both consolidation and separate legal entities) in accordance with reporting timelines (IFRS 4 and 17).
