Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and organized Staff Transport Coordinator to handle daily transport arrangements for company staff. You will work with transport companies to make sure employees are picked up and dropped off on time, safely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Arrange daily transport for staff between their homes and the workplace.
Plan and adjust transport schedules and routes as needed.
Coordinate with transport companies to ensure vehicles arrive on time.
Keep track of transport timing, vehicle availability, and staff attendance.
Handle any issues with delays, breakdowns, or route changes.
Liaise with transport providers to ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and properly maintained.
Maintain records of transport services, costs, and contracts.
Communicate regularly with staff and drivers for smooth transport operations.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience in transport coordination or a similar role.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
Basic computer skills (Excel, email, scheduling tools).
Experience working with transport vendors.
Knowledge of local routes and traffic conditions.
Ability to manage a team of drivers (if in-house transport is used).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
