We are seeking experienced Spray Painter to join our team. This role requires individual with a strong background in spray painting with epoxy, zinc, and polyurethane-based paint systems. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience working in fuel storage depots or refineries, particularly on bulk fuel tanks and steel piping.
Reports to: Project Manager/Site Manager/ Site Supervisor
Industry: Petrochemical Industry
Location: Cape Town
Schedule: Monday – Friday, with potential for overtime
Set-up: Onsite
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Market-related and commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure spray painting is carried out according to planning schedules.
Ensure spray painting adheres to Quality Control Plans (QCP).
Maintain high standards of safety and quality in all tasks.
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure project goals are met.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in spray painting with epoxy, zinc, and polyurethane-based paint systems.
Previous experience in spray painting on bulk fuel tanks and steel piping.
Experience working in a fuel storage depot or refinery.
Train the Painter certification is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
