JOB DESCRIPTION – Sports Scientist
Minimum Qualifications/ Experience Required for this Position:
· Bachelor’s degree Sports Science (BSportSci) or similar
. Looking for a sports scientist that has a passion for developing specialised programs in line with the principals of sports in medicine.
· 1 year experience working in a Gym/ Fitness environment
· Additional certificates would be an advantage eg: Pilates/Strapping
· Understanding of Microsoft Office
· People orientated person
· Administration skills
Proficiency:
· Be professional, enthusiastic and a people orientated person.
· Sound interpersonal skills
· Sound organizational skills
· Must be able to communicate in English/Afrikaans/Vernacular language where applicable
· Must be able to work under pressure
· Good communication skills
· Must be willing to go the extra mile
· Excellent knowledge of company health and safety regulations
· Excellent industry knowledge
· Must be customer service orientated
· Time management skills
· Ability to take ownership of tasks and be proactive
· Motivated and interdependent
· Good knowledge of company product and the services offered
· Be presentable and professional in all internal and external interactions
· Good internal and external customer relations
