Position: Specialist Account Executive – Platform Sales- Africa
As a Cloud Account Executive within the Platform team, your focus will be on custom enterprise business application development and enhanced Security Products and Application Lifecycle Management products. You will formulate and execute a Platform sales strategy within your specific market segment, drive revenue growth by increasing demand in the current customer base, and develop new customers. You will develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting.
You will work in partnership with existing Account owners and will carry quota for Platform product sales. As a trusted adviser and coach, you will possess expertise in Business and Technology Architecture, matching customer needs to Salesforce Platform capabilities, including Trusted Services, Developer Services, Privacy Center, Shield, Data Mask, Security Center, Backup & Recovery, Archiving, Sandboxes, Lightning Platform, Agentforce development, and security.
You will articulate the business value of solutions through executive-level presentations on time-to-value, ROI, and TCO.

Responsibilities:
Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement the overall long-term strategy for each account aligned with customer objectives.
Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to meet customer needs.
Perform account planning in collaboration with Prime and Cloud sales resources for strategic alignment.
Communicate Salesforce’s value proposition for existing and new customers.
Drive growth within assigned accounts.
Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum 10+ years of experience with full-cycle sales.
Ability to strategize with a large extended team.
Experience selling software/SaaS solutions, especially to industry verticals mentioned.
Proven track record in managing and closing complex sales cycles with consultative, solution-focused selling skills.
Strong background in software/SaaS sales with outstanding quota attainment.
Understanding of security, compliance regulations, and experience discussing with Chief Security Officers and Data Protection Officers.
Ability to formulate data protection, data management strategies, and security operations.
Experience working in the Africa region.
