Key Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate sound equipment for all On Board Cruise Ship entertainment and events
– Conduct sound checks and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal sound quality
– Monitor sound levels during performances and adjust as needed
– Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise with sound equipment
– Maintain and organize sound equipment inventory
– Collaborate with other crew members and performers to ensure smooth and successful events
– Follow all safety procedures and protocols when handling sound equipment
– Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in sound technology
Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sound Technician in a live entertainment setting
– Proficient in operating sound equipment such as mixers, amplifiers, and microphones
– Strong understanding of sound principles and systems
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
– Valid passport and ability to travel for extended periods of time
