Job Description
An international company offering off-grid, grid-tied and battery storage solutions to commercial, industrial and agricultural clients are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their UK offices. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to solidify a long term career.
Minimum Requirements:
• BEng/BSc Electrical Engineering
• 5 – 10 years’ experience in the design of solar PV solutions for Commercial & Industrial clients
• Experience using AutoCAD, Trimble, Etap, Homer, etc.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Work closely with the Head of Design to deliver the development of cost-effective design and engineering solutions and deliver complete design packages for project proposals.
• Production of technical specifications, and drawings using AutoCAD
• Leading technical relationships with sub-contractors, funders and Distribution Network Operators
• To ensure full compliance with quality and H&S systems
• Operate within the company’s Construction Design Management procedures
• Support procurement with timely selection and specification of components.
• Provide electrical designs, bills of material, design risk assessment, commissioning plans etc.
• Site surveys and visits as required.
Accommodation will be provided for 2023, with the option to then return to South Africa to work remotely.
