We are looking for a skilled Solar Panel Installer with a valid Working at Heights Certificate to join our team. The primary responsibility is to install solar panels on rooftops and other elevated structures while adhering to strict safety protocols. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working at heights and have experience in solar panel installation or related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
Install solar panels on rooftops and other elevated structures in compliance with safety regulations.
Secure mounting systems, wiring, and electrical components according to technical specifications.
Use fall protection equipment, harnesses, and other PPE to ensure safe working conditions.
Conduct risk assessments before starting work and report any safety hazards.
Assist with assembling and positioning solar panel systems as per project requirements.
Follow installation plans and electrical schematics provided by engineers or supervisors.
Maintain tools, equipment, and worksite cleanliness after installation.
Work collaboratively with electricians and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
Requirements:
Valid Working at Heights Certificate (mandatory).
Previous experience in solar panel installation or a related field.
Knowledge of roofing structures, electrical systems, and solar panel mounting methods.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
