Software Sales Consultant
AutoSLM Johannesburg is looking for a Sales Person to join our team. The position requires a goal driven, self motivated, sales hungry individual who will be able to take guidance, be given (product and process) training and go get the deals. AutoSLM has a wide range of relevant and innovative products that are valuable to Motor Dealers in a competitive industry.
Previous experience in sales (software) is essential 4+ years – selling must be your passion and closing your motivator. Ideally, the individual will have some idea of how Motor Dealers operate but this can be learned.
This is a “write your own cheque” situation where the smarter and more you work the more you will earn with an aggressive commission structure.
Must have own reliable transport, Cell, internet access at all times and own laptop.
Must be willing and able to cold call and commit to routine daily follow ups.
This is an external sales role so you will be expected to set up appointments or handle a remote sales process.
Must understand the basic nature of web based software systems.
Able to work from anywhere (Office/Home/remote).
Eye for details and consistent follow up.
Able to self motivate and focus on deal qualification to close sales without distractions.
A good sales person will have good communication skills and be able to recognize that brand ambassadors walk the talk and operate with integrity at all times.
The applicant is expected to survey the market and competitive landscape (helpful information will be provided in detail), see opportunities and engage.
A basic salary will be paid plus reasonable costs – commission is paid when the customer pays.
