Full Job Description
We are looking to hire the services of an Independent Contractor for the role of Software Lecturer at our Midrand campus on a part-time basis. The appointed individual will be responsible for lecturing Information Technology-related modules and assisting with administrative and departmental activities.
Responsibilities:
Lecturing.
General administration tasks.
Setting and marking of assessments.
Preparation of notes and additional study materials.
Quality assurance of content and teaching methods.
Management of at-risk students.
Qualifications:
BSc Honours in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering.
Experience:
Relevant lecturing experience.
Knowledge of higher education practices and processes.
Relevant research experience.Modules to be lectured:
Object Oriented Systems Analysis and Design
Software Engineering
Python Programming
C#
Java Programming
