Position: Software Engineer (Thermal Management Systems)

They’re currently in search of a Software Engineer (TMS) to join their electric vehicle software development team. that often involves intricate challenges. An essential qualification is a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in HVAC and Thermal systems. Furthermore, a willingness to undertake international travel for varying durations is a requirement for this role.
DUTIES:
Simulation and design of Thermal Management Systems (TMS) for EV vehicles using Simulink
TMS control system design, implementation, and verification testing
Control algorithm development and optimization
Under guidance of the Lead Software Engineer, be responsible for documentation, verification, and testing of control software
Contribute to vehicle software development, software tools development and vehicle data analytics.
REQUIREMENTS:
BEng. Degree in Mechanical engineering. Specializing in HVAC and Thermal systems.
Willing to travel overseas for variable periods
South African Citizenship
6+ Years of experience
Proficient in design of Thermal Management Systems (TMS)
Experience with Simulink system modeling will be beneficial
Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Hardworking, willing to go the extra mile
Excellent in task management
Team Player (Work well in a team)
Ability to work under pressure and handle priority changes
