Job Purpose:
Hollard Life Solutions is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead our software development team in delivering scalable, high-quality applications and services. This leadership role focuses on managing and mentoring the development team, overseeing system maintenance and project execution, and ensuring that our software solutions meet business objectives while aligning with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Lead and mentor developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-driven environment.
• Execution & Delivery:
Execute software development tasks in alignment with project timelines, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Process Improvement:
Enforce best practices, coding standards, and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to optimize workflows and productivity.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Team Performance & Reporting:
Track team progress and provide regular updates to senior management on development status and goals.
• Resource Planning & Allocation:
Ensure effective resource allocation across initiatives, supporting recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Production Support & Escalation:
Provide effective production support, addressing critical incidents and escalations promptly.
• Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
Stay current with industry trends and lead the adoption of new tools and technologies to improve team performance and efficiency
