A day in the life
Lead, mentor, challenge and grow other software engineers on the team.
Develop and implement software solutions that leverage workflow automation, geospatial intelligence and mapping, and artificial intelligence to improve our clients’ business processes.
Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto design, develop, and deployinnovativesoftware solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
Actively engage and participate in software architecture and design reviews.
Maintain and enhance existing software applications to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the business.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
Participate incode reviewsand provide constructive feedback to peers.
Stayup-to-datewith emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our software solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.
About the team
GR Tech manages software tools to centralize data about what buildings Amazon launches. Since inception, these tools have grown to encompass Amazon’s worldwide operations (outside physical stores): we now cover thousands of active new launches, retrofit, and lease-related projects. We create global standards for managing data related to these capital projects.
