Position: Software Developer (Medical)
Our client in the Medical Industry is looking to hire a Software Developer.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Collaborate within a team of developers to deliver high quality and efficient solutions:
o Developing new software applications based on software requirement specifications and coding standards
o Refactoring and enhancing existing software
o Providing production support in issue resolution and root cause analysis
· Analyse and provide solutions to complex tasks and projects, providing accurate and timely work break-down estimates for project tasks.
· Participate in code reviews and internal testing to ensure the solution is of high standard. Work alongside Testers to test, debug and improve faulty application code, identifying
· Bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to these issues.

Requirements
Experience as an intermediate / senior developer with between five and half (5 ½) and seven (7) years software development experience in;
· 5+ years of development with C# .Net (strong requirement) 3+ years working with JSON
· CSS3
· Entity Framework / Dapper (one or the other)
· Java Script
· HTML5
· Bootstrp
· JQuery
· WCF / REST API
· Windows Services
· Microsoft SQL
· Mathematics at higher grade (minimum Matric level)
· Beneficial
AngularJS
· MVC and/or
· MVVM
· Xamarin
· Unit Testing
· .Net Core
Skills
· The ability to solve complex problems
· Great communication skills and a desire to collaborate with the team
· Strong experience in building web applications
· Experience in implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests
· Experience in branching version control and proficient understanding of TFS, Visual Studio and Jira
· Have a practical working knowledge of object-oriented design principles and common design patterns
· Familiarity with software requirements analysis and IT project management best practices
· Preferably from the financial, insurance or healthcare industry
